I am blessed to have spent the majority of my teaching career at West Catholic High School. I thoroughly enjoy working with high school students and helping them to develop intellectual curiosity and confidence in their critical reading and writing skills. I am also involved in scoring national college writing assessments, and I recently enjoyed attending an AP Institute in Vermont.

Working with teenagers keeps me feeling and thinking young. For over 20 years I have enjoyed watching my former students become successful adults. Even though I am no longer advising the Westword ( time for some new, energetic blood, i.e. Mrs. Danevicz), I still enjoy working with teens in the National Honor society and in my English and communication classes.
