At West Catholic High School:

  • We educate our students in spirit, mind and body
  • We are a Catholic, college-preparatory secondary school system
  • West Catholic was established in 1962 as a sister school to Catholic Central
  • Named one of the Top 50 Catholic high schools in America> by the Acton Institute  
  • Received the Green School Award from Kent ISD and Kent County for our efforts to recycle, conserve energy and teach about how to care for God’s creation
  • 98% of students enroll in colleges and universities after graduation and receive millions of dollars in scholarship offers each year
  • Class of 2011 received over 7 million dollars in college scholarship offers
  • West Catholic High School offers Advanced Placement and Honors Courses as well as Dual Enrollment options
  • Students are held to a high expectation with the 7-point grading scale (93-100%=A)
  • Students consistently score well above both state and national averages on the SAT and ACT
  • Total student enrollment at West Catholic is 506 
  • 1 out of 3 students receives tuition assistance

  • Offers courses in Chinese, Pre-Engineering with CAD, and Internships 
  • State of the Art LEED Certified Competition Gym on Campus
  • Athletic facilities on campus include Football/Soccer & Track facilities, Baseball & Softball fields, Competition and Auxiliary gyms, Fitness Center and Weight Room
  • We have added Blackboard Technology and utilize clickers with our Smart Boards as a means of preparing students for college and to help become more "earth friendly" by eliminating the need for printing papers, etc.
