Catholic Central Students Named Gerald R. Ford Museum Essay Contest Finalists
CC freshmen, Sara DenBraber and Caroline Poole, and CC sophomores, Lindsay Gutting and Will Barkeley, have been named finalists in this year’s President Gerald R. Ford Student Essay Challenge. They are four of only eighteen finalists chosen from hundreds of essays submitted from high school students from throughout West Michigan, and will be recognized at a ceremony at the museum on February 15th.

This year’s topic was “The Meaning of Courage Today” Their essays will be published on-line on the Grand Rapids Press Newspapers in Education and the Gerald R. Ford Museum websites.
