Bredberg tapped for East West All-Star game
West Catholic’s Mitch Bredberg was selected to play in the 31st Annual Michigan High School Football Coaches Association East/West All-Star game. He was chosen kicker for the West team.

Bredeberg is one of eight area players selected Sunday to take part in this year’s game. The others are: Byron Center fullback Derek Sievers, Morley-Stanwood fullback Tyler Havens, Zeeland East running back Brad Horling, West Ottawa linebacker Desmond Morgan, Rockford linebacker Brett Egnatuk, Grand Haven linebacker Dalton Stenberg and Grant offensive tackle Thad Cook.
This is the fourth consecutive year that a player from West has been selected for the roster:
2007 Kirk Deering
2008 Luke Buitendyk
2009 Travis Makita
2010 Mitch Bredberg
The June 25 game was moved to Central Michigan University’s Kelly/Shorts Stadium from MSU Spartan Stadium due to an event scheduling conflict. Game time is TBD. Tickets are $5 before the event and $10 at the gate on game day. Call 734-676-4486 or visit www.mhsfca.com.
