The Sunshine Uniform Company will be at Catholic Central High School on  August 24th from 12:00 noon - 5:30 pm and August 25, 26 & 27 from 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm in the Music Room in the Gymnasium.

They will have uniforms available for both Catholic Central and West Catholic students to try on and purchase at that time.

Dear students and parents of Catholic Central and West Catholic High Schools-

The Guidance Offices are getting ready to begin a new academic year.  We will soon begin building student class schedules and plan to make those available to you prior to the first week of school.   We look forward to seeing the incoming freshmen and new students at Orientation.  As well, we are preparing college admissions information for the senior class of 2011.

As we anticipate the first day of classes, we would like to inform you of changes within our Guidance Department.  The Director of Guidance, Heidi Clark-Smitley, will be providing leadership for the offices in our high schools.  She is excited to bring solid college preparatory programs and services.  Students and parents can expect relevant information sessions for topics such as college admissions, academic skill development, and financial aid.  Mrs.Smitley will work with the team of counselors to present career exploration services and national testing opportunities.  Our Guidance team will also be committed to seeing students on a regular basis for academic and personal counseling.

With the restructure of staffing in our schools, students may be invited to work with a different counselor for the upcoming year.  Please note the following student assignments per counselor:

Catholic Central High School main offfice will be open from 8:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday during the summer.

School begins August 31st for orientation and pictures from 8:00am - 11:30am.  The first full day of school will be September 1st.

Students, if you haven't picked up your summer assignment for AP US History please do.  They are available in the main office from 8:00am - 3:00pm.  Assignments will be due Wednesday September 1.

FOOTBALL COACH

Todd Kolster, our Athletic Director, will assume the position of Head Football Coach. He is well qualified for this added responsibility from his experience at Grand Valley and we look forward to a successful football season under his direction.  We all know him from his work as AD and we welcome his continuing with us and his added role in our school.  God bless – Fr.
