Haiti Outreach

Catholic Central and West Catholic High Schools have partnered with Haiti Needs You in a long term commitment for a combined Haiti school project.  This student to student project helps the children of Seguin, Haiti, and benefits the CC/WC students with the opportunity to serve and learn from our brothers and sisters in Haiti through this cross-cultural faith-enriching experience.

The Project:

• Pray regularly for the people of Haiti.

• Make an annual student trip to Seguin.

• Help teach lessons in the school.

• Provide toothbrushes and toothpaste for the 528 students.

• Provide fluoride treatments for the students.

• Provide Vermox to rid the students of internal parasites.

• Provide water bottles/canteens for students.  When they arrive at school they fill        

  the bottles with clean water, and when they go home they fill the bottles.

• Assist in building a water purification system for the school. 

• Sponsor 20 students to attend school starting with preschool students and    

  sponsoring them through seventh grade.
